She Ran
She ran as fast she could,
The wind that blew fourth as it would
Would lead me to you,
Verses anew;
With the wind that takes charge
As if on queue.
Stranger's breath, stranger still
Enthralled in an instant
The stranger's will.
She ran, she ran to,
A day and anew
Show me mountains green
And show me oceans-a-blue
A dream upon a dream
A dream with you.
She ran and she ran
She ran to you
What beauty your namesake
This poem is dedicated to.
The wind that blew fourth as it would
Would lead me to you,
Verses anew;
With the wind that takes charge
As if on queue.
Stranger's breath, stranger still
Enthralled in an instant
The stranger's will.
She ran, she ran to,
A day and anew
Show me mountains green
And show me oceans-a-blue
A dream upon a dream
A dream with you.
She ran and she ran
She ran to you
What beauty your namesake
This poem is dedicated to.
